BSNL Trick / Hack to speed up Broadband / Dataone Internet Speed

Few days back i have explained a way on how you can configure your BSNL wireless router for use in Multiple PC’s or in the laptop. But sometimes it cause to lower the surfing speed (Though this is somehow occurred with a only few connection)…which frustrates the several users connected to BSNL Broadband or BSNL Cellone Dataone. Though if you also among those who are around such experiences then you should take a chance to apply the new DNS server settings.

As BSNL servers are very unresponsive very frequently and took up a long time duration and several times they just timed out… but being cost effective no one in India would like to leave them in comparison with the other service providers so there is only chance left to apply new settings which can give way the dns server loads…

So to do this follow the simple steps described below ( Though you can always revert back if it doesn’t help you much )

1. Open Control Panel -> Networking and Sharing Center -> Manage Network Connection.

2. Now a window showing all networks will be opened. Select BSNL Connection -> Right click -> Properties.

3. Now, double click on Internet Protocol Version(TCP/IPv4) and in newly opened window at bottom, select “Use the following DNS Server address” .

4. And fill these 2 DNS Addresses in two fields:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

And apply the new dns settings, this will reroute your surfing to the new dns server and may be the chances that you can really experience the fastest change. Plz do mention with your valuable comment but no spam please or subscribe to feed-burner for such valuable tips…

From several past days it was found that this dns server also have become very lazy so if the above one does not work for you try changing it to the following address:

Preffered DNS :   218.248.240.79

Alternate DNS:   218.248.240.135

This one is also a very fast server and working best here in Faridabad.
