In this method of restoring those files we will use a  program called ‘webfldrs.msi’ without reinstalling the whole of Windows. The program is located right there on your PC and can be run from c:\windows\system32\webfldrs.msi so you don’t even need to download any separate program but make sure you have the your Windows XP CD  ready.

STEPS INVOLVED:
– Insert your Windows XP CD into your CD-ROM
– Run webfldrs.msi

You will see the following dialogs. Just follow the instructions.
