No Registry Hack Or Gpedit.msc trick: Simple Dos Command to Hide Hard Disk Partition

Few days back I have already posted an article saying what to do if you want to hide the whole partition or any particular via registry hack… but this time we will learn not involving any Registry or Gpedit.msc trick but a simple DOS command… DISKPART.

1) Go to Start > Run > type “diskpart”.
A DOS window will appear with following description.

DISKPART>

2) Then type “list volume”
The result will look something like one as shown below-

3) Suppose you want to hide drive E then type “select volume 3”
Then a message will appear in same window { Volume 3 is the selected volume}

4) Now type “remove letter E”
Now a message will come { Diskpart Removed the Drive letter }

Now what if you want to restore… nothing complicated just revert down the step 4 using word assign instead of Remove i.e. “assign letter E
