Looking for Task Manager Alternative: Here is one called SmartClose… works like system restore

Have you ever used System Restore… a feature in Windows to restore Windows to an earlier date after any misshapes after any driver or software installation. System Restore in such situation roll back the changes made during the time to that date only altering the system files leaving the data files untouched. Though this feature of windows is very effective, but today in this article you will learn about a tool which works similar like System restore but in a different way or you can say is just like Task Manager to kill open application at once and later restore (launch) them automatically that also without any restart… but keep in mind that however it can restore opened application again but the operation cannot be rolled back means if you have any unsaved files, all changes will be lost.

The application which you will know is called SmartClose … a very small application, which is very effective when you have application causing very frequent system hangs or if you very often have to use Task Manager to kill those applications. But from now on you may forget Windows Task Manager to kill open application… but the SmartClose will do it for you…

For the purpose you first need to download the application from the link given here… and then  install it…

Now run the application you will get the first screen as shown below…

Now to close all running application just click on the highlighted option and it will do the task and now to restore them just click on the second option… isn’t this very easy… but again be warned…. save all files before applying this mode… if possible. To get your application recover again SmartClose automatically close every currently running program. It may also disable  screen saver and the Windows Task Scheduler, closing (Internet) Explorer windows, and saving the current state of the system, such as all running programs, to a ‘system snapshot’.

I have found this application an amazing one now just test it yourself from the link given and let me know using comments.
