Have you ever imagined that the mirrors used at several places like Bathrooms, Hotels, toilets, cloth changing rooms can cheat you. Have you ever heard of the two way mirror which is from one side is absolutely transparent while from another side acts as a mirror. It’s not a joke but such Mirrors exists and even installed at many places. Don’t panic my intention is not to scare you but let you know that you should be cautious while using private places. But the question is how to determine them as it is very hard to trace them by simply looking at them.. so now what?

There is a very simple method you have to implement. Put your fingernails to the surface of the mirror. If there is a gap you find between the finger and the mirror image then it is absolutely safe to use, but if there is no gap means your finger directly touches the image then there may the chances that it is two way mirror (and may be the chances you can be seen from the other side). This nothing cost you but makes you safe while using Trial Rooms or such places where privacy matters.

Now the reason: For the gap in the mirror because the silver painted on the back of the mirror under the glass while with two way mirror it fixes on the top of the mirror, thus no gap.
