How to block Certain websites denying access to children

If you are very much conscious about the way your child behaves on the web and want to protect his her privacy or there are certain websites which you don’t want your child should go then here is an easy and free of cost solution to fully ban such websites.

For the purpose you only need to modify the windows host file , and this can be done easily using the default notepad editor.

1.    Open Command Prompt by typing cmd in the Run (Press shortcut Windows+r).

2.    In the command prompt type “notepad C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts” without quotes.

3.    This will open a notepad file and locate a line saying 127.0.0.1 localhost.

4.    Now under that line type the website address you want to block prefixed with 127.0.0.1 example:  127.0.0.1 facebook.com

5.    Now just save the file and exit. You can add several sites following this method.

6.    To remove the restrictions just remove the addresses.

Isn’t this easy to deny access just try it and get whatever the result you are looking for.
