How to kill running application for faster shutdown of Windows

There are situation with the users playing lot of games that the shutting down time of windows sometimes takes very long time after a game play. The system becomes slow because of the most of the system memory in use because of the game you have played. Sometimes this also happens if you so many programs running in the background denying the fast shutdown.

Then in such situation there is small program called Absolute Shutdown which is able to kill any application running in the background with in the time frame you have set.

By default, Windows wait 20 seconds to kill an application and 35 seconds to kill the hung application which is seriously large. Set the value to 5 seconds for both “Wait to kill application timeout” and “Wait to kill hung application” and to 2 seconds for “Wait to kill service timeout” but if you face any problem then try increasing the values slightly.

But always keep in mind you should save your work before pushing your system to shutdown as this tool forcefully close down any running application, thus causing to loose your work.
