If like me you also work with several applications at a time then I am sure you must have used Show Desktop Icon or Windows+D command with previous versions of the Windows. But with Windows 7 as we know that there are a lot of changes and enhancements already applied which caused many of the common function from the previous version changed or shifted. Show desktop also fall in the above category.

Though Windows+d is the best solution to get to the desktop but if you fell very much comfortable with your mouse then you can still find it very easy just move your pointer to Bottom right of the screen and click on the extreme corner this will minimize all the open windows:
