Uninstall Internet Explorer or Hidden programs using Add Remove Programmes

Have you ever thought why can’t you uninstall some programmes which are a part of Windows Installation like MSN or Internet Explorer using Add Remove Programs from Control Panel. Sometime few of us badly need to remove Internet Explorer but can’t able to do that. As these were the programs which are well can be removed from the ARP list but Microsoft has implemented an effort to make them Hide.

Does this mean we cannot get rid of such programs? Of course only we need to modify a simple inf file from Windows / Inf folder.

So to get out of these program from Hidden Boxes navigates to C:\WINDOWS\inf and copy the file Sysoc.inf as a backup. Double-click the Sysoc.inf file to open Notepad, then Press Ctrl-H and replace instances of ,hide, with , , and save the file. Hidden components should now be visible for removal. You can easily use replace function of notepad to easily sort out the issue using hide in the field find what and leaving blank the replace with field.

That’s all now you can get the whole list if any program hidden by Microsofr upon installation of Windows.
